B.S., Master's Level Intern
Jim earned his Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy from Purdue University. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Jim is a Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
He is also a member of the Counselor Education Program faculty at IPFW and chair of the Department of Professional Studies. Jim has worked for more than 20 years with individuals, couples, and families, and has extensive experience in couples and sex therapy.
With an understanding of the power of prevention, he helped to found Healthy Marriages of Allen County, a coalition of organizations dedicated to strengthening marriages. Jim enjoys working with clients towards personal growth, family connection, and couple skills, including enhancing sexual relationships.
In addition, Jim and his wife write a weekly healthy relationships column for the Sturgis Journal.
Stephanie Furnas, LMFT, LCAC—Therapist
Stephanie earned her master's degree from Indiana University with training focused on multi-systemic approaches. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor.
Her passion focuses on helping others succeed in their dreams. Stephanie currently serves as an adjunct professor in a college's master's program with Marriage and Family Therapy as the focus.
She is an Approved American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor and supervises aspiring therapists. She believes in constant growth both professionally and personally. Through her experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist she has assisted many individuals and families through their life circumstances.
Jeni Habegger, LMFT, LCAC
Jeni earned her master's degree from Indiana University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. She has experience with individuals, couples and families of a variety of issues, ages, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.
She has a strong working knowledge and practice of multiple theories regarding individuals, families and couples. Jeni has a deep passion for meeting you where you are on this journey and assisting you in processing your path, challenging you to live your most fulfilled life.
Anastacia Bruce, B.A., Master's Level Intern
Anastacia Bruce earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Criminology from Ball State University in 2004. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Anastacia enjoys working with individuals, families and couples. She accepts her clients for who they are and encourages growth and sustainable change through the therapeutic process.
Lidija Situm, B.S., Master's Level Intern
Lidija earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services and a minor degree in both Psychology and Sociology from Purdue University in 2009. She is currently working on her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Lidija has previous experience working with individuals, families, and couples. She is passionate about helping her clients reach their full potential and live happier lives through humanistic and integrative theoretical approaches.
