Darlene was raised in a large family in a small community. She has been married for over 40 years and has been blessed with a wonderful family. For over 30 years Dar and her husband operated a portrait photography business which granted Dar the opportunity to interact with many kind and lovely people. In 2011 Dar joined the Hand in Hand family. She enjoys the opportunity to work closely with others. It is her family and church family is where Dar loves to invest her time and energy.

Donna earned her bachelors and master's degrees from Indiana University in education. Because she believes strongly in early intervention, First Steps was a perfect match! Donna has been a part of the First Steps program since 1998. She began as a developmental therapist, has/continues to participate on multiple committees/boards, and currently serves as Director of FS services at Hand In Hand. Her passion, skill sets and knowledge are the perfect combination to encourage other therapists, who touch the lives of so many, to continue to promote the excellency of the First Steps program.

Kodi was raised in a small family in a small town. She grew up playing soccer where she learned the importance of a team atmosphere and was held in many leadership roles. After graduating with an Associates of Applied Science with emphasis on Therapeutic Massage, she became a “Girl Boss” for in-home massage therapy. With years’ experience in leadership and team building, she found her home in 2017 at Hand in Hand Therapy. Here she is able to apply her passion for helping people along with creating new family and friends with those she works with.

Anastacia Bruce received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne, and Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Ball State University. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Anastacia utilizes systemic theoretical approaches to restore health and normalcy to families in need. Specifically, she identifies with an experiential approach to counseling that allows flexibility and growth in the counseling process. Anastacia has professional experience working with families with special needs children, separation and divorce as well as individuals on a path of self-growth. Anastacia is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Anastacia has utilized her skills and experience as a Limited Term Lecturer for graduate level courses in her field through Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne. Stephanie served seven years as an adjunct professor at a local college's Master's Program with Marriage and Family Therapy as the focus. She is an Approved American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor and supervises aspiring therapists. She believes in constant growth both professionally and personally. Through her experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist she has assisted many individuals and families through their life circumstances.

With a 25 year history in leadership and motivation, she helps clients uncover the gifts they have within, as well as develop new skills and use both to live a meaningful and purpose-filled life. Colleen has worked with clients with trauma-laden histories and helped them process those painful experiences. Annalee is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. Annalee completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Huntington University and completed her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, PA. Annalee is also employed as an adjunct professor in the Psychology Department of Huntington University and at Grace and Truth Counseling Services in Huntington, IN. Annalee works with families, couples, adults, adolescents, and children. Her specialty areas include anxiety, depression, sexual addiction, and identity and self-esteem work. She is also trained and certified to use Prepare/Enrich, the leading relationship inventory and skill-building program for couples, as well as CORE Communication, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, and Thrive Sphere. Amanda graduated from Brown Mackie College where she received the President’s Award for outstanding scholastic achievement. Amanda also earned her BA in English Literature at Indiana University. Amanda loves coming up with new and creative ways to make therapy fun for her clients! She believes every child is a unique and wonderful gift who deserves to be loved unconditionally. When Amanda is at home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs.

Renee is a Certified Occupational Therapist that has worked in Pediatrics since 2011. Renee is certified in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach lead by STAR Center, which is an effective way to address problematic feeding behaviors by allowing the child to interact with food in a playful, non-stressful way. Renee is passionate about working with not only the child, but collaborating with the family for the greater success in developmental therapy.

Chelsea has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2015. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Indiana-University Purdue-University Fort Wayne and received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Marshall University. She has completed and presented research at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and West Virginia Speech Language Hearing Association (WVSHA) conventions. Chelsea is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She has experience and passion for helping children develop appropriate literacy skills. This is the focus of the Little Reader's Book Club she leads at the Hand in Hand outpatient clinic, as well as the one-to-one literacy services she provides to clients of all ages. She enjoys working collaboratively with families, schools, and other therapy providers to best serve the needs of the children she works with.

Allison is nationally certified with Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Allison is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. Allison's passion is with pediatric and school-aged children. She has most focus and knowledge with speech articulation, developmental language delay, cognitive-communication and social-language. She is certified in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach lead by STAR Center, which is an effective way to address problematic feeding behaviors by allowing the child to interact with food in a playful, non-stressful way. Allison also has knowledge and experience with children who are on the autism spectrum, including an intensive autism camp during her graduate school program and continuing into her current caseload.
